Allow automatic updating android market
The left pane contains your list of “Installed” apps while the other contains “All apps”.
The left pane contains buttons allowing you to “Open,” “Update,” or “Uninstall” the app.
By clicking on the notification, a download Intent is fired, which downloads the new apk file by using the browser’s build-in download functionality: This is for sure the simplest approach.
A more sophisticated one could be to let the application itself download the new apk to the SD card and fire the install, afterwards removing the APK again etc…
Having this feature enabled is a great way to ensure that your apps are always up to date.
But the problem is not everyone might have a mobile data plan that can support automatically updating apps on their Android device.
NOTE: If you want apps to update automatically, but you want to avoid going over your data limit, touch the “Auto-update apps over Wi-Fi only” option.
That option allows your apps to automatically update only when you are connected to a Wi-Fi network so you don’t use any data to do so.
